Golden Oaks subdivision is nestled in an area of lofty oak trees and heavily wooded terrain just off Hwy 198, south of Mabank and Gun Barrel, Texas, and northeast of Payne Springs, Texas. Golden Oaks is home to approximately 400 residents and property owners of Henderson County.
The Golden Oaks Property Owners Association was established in the 80's by residents interested in ensuring a quality lifestyle for all residents. The Golden Oaks Property Owners Association has a governing Board with five members elected by the members.
The Mission of Golden Oaks Property Owners Association is to provide information to residents of activities and happenings in the neighborhood to promote a cleaner, safer and friendlier environment for all residents. To accomplish this goal requires residents to abide by the "Deed Restrictions and By-Laws" and to work within the Property Owners Association and neighbors to correct any violations and concerns. Copies of the "Deed Restrictions and By-Laws" are available to residents upon request.
